14/11/2022, Monday

             Today I reached the school at 9:00 am. After signing the register, I went to the staffroom and got sign from Nisha tr (Chemistry) in the record and chart. I had class at 8C on the second period and conducted several experiments there. Today I taught them about true solution, colloids and suspension. They are well mannered and all are interested in such experiments. It was easy for them to classify the mixtures according to their observations. Some of them helped me to take away materials after the class. 
           During the 3rd and 4th hr, I and Ganga went to LP section. As it was children's day they had a rally and then we went to their classes. It was fun to spend time with them. They sang songs, dances, told many stories etc. The classes of LKG and UKG are also visited and enjoyed a lot. 
          At 12:10 pm we served the food and then we had lunch. Then l had classes at 9E for the 6th, 7th and 8th hr. I took the new chapter Work, Energy and Power. Some of them got punishment today. I managed the class and cleared their doubts. They responded to my questions. 
            We left the school at 3:45pm. Reshmi, Ganga, Rakhi and Harichandana had already went to our college at 2 pm for correcting their records.

15/11/2022, Tuesday

         Today I reached the school at 9:00 am. There is an educational strike from KSU, but some of the students were present in all classes. We signed the register and I went to 8D on the first hour then they are 10 from 8D and only 3 were present in 8C. So those three are also accomodated to 8D.Then l gave them notes on Solutions chapter in Chemistry. The second period also I managed the class. Then due to strike all of them went to home. 
          After that l and Sruthy co-ordinated the Thiruvathira practice according to teacher's instructions. The Thiruvathira competition was held on tomorrow at 6 pm in Varkala School (Sub district level). We corrected them and gave our suggestions. They continued to practice well. Then we packed the gifts for the winners of poster making competition conducted by us. 
        Then we had the food from the school (Idli and sambar) . After that we from Nedunganda and metca student teachers enjoyed some time to play games. It was fun and interesting. We enjoyed a lot. 
        We left the school at 2 :30 pm.


16/11/2022, Wednesday

         Today I reached the school at 9:00 am and reported. Then we hand over the prizes of 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the winners of poster making competition in the assembly. The prize was given to students by the principal. The winners are Muhammed Vasil (1st- 8E), Sraddha (2nd- 8F) and Sreenandhan (3rd- 9E). I went to 8B on the first hour and then 8A on the second hour. After that I got 8C and l started the chapter 'Magnetism' and shows them different types of magnets. I informed them about the testpaper. Then on the fourth period, I went to 8D and taught them about solubility. After the class I joined to the midday meal at 12:20 pm. 
             After lunch break, l went to 9E on the 5th and 6th  hour. I taught them on Work, Energy and Power. They had some confusions in the sign conversions and so l taught some basics in an easy language. Those who wants to learn understand it and cleared their doubts. I told them to write the derivations along with me and each step is repeated again and again, 
            It was an unforgettable and sweet moment that Darshana from 8C gave me a rose flower. I really like their class not because of that rose but l am very much attached to each and every student of 8C.They  give me respect and well obeyed in the class. 
       We left the school at 3:45 pm.


17/11/2022, Thursday

        I reached the school at 9:00 am and reported. Today the assembly was conducted by us. I, Rakhi, Sruthy and Reshmi sang the prayer. The pledge was told by me. Harichandana read the news and Ganga present the thought of the day. Then the assembly was dispersed and we went to our classes. Today there was no class for 8th standard students due to the shortage of teachers as they were engaged in youth festivals. So we had only 9th class. I had a class at 9E on the third period. I completed the chapter gravitation as there was only a single topic (freefall) to be covered. Today the student teachers from Metca has an observation from their college in Maths department. 
             At 12:20pm, we went to serve the food. The teacher from Metca also joined with us for lunch. On the 7th and 8th period l went to 9E and gave them problems of gravitation. Each of the questions were solved in the class and they solved in properly. I had cleared their doubts. I repeated the steps and they are able to solve it. 
          At 3:30 pm, National Anthem was sang and then girls were line up and went to home. Then boys were line up and went to home. I closed the classroom and left the school at 3:45pm.


18/11/2022, Friday

          I reached the school at 9: 00am  as usual. After signing the register we talked to the principal as it was our last day if the first phase of teaching practice. Then she gave us blessings and gave best wishes for our exams. After that l went to the staffroom. I already told my subject teachers about it earlier but told again about it today. They are very cooperative and gave blessings. 
           Today there was no class for 9th std. Only 8th std is present. On the second period, l went to my class 8C and carried out the testpaper. Then my student Arjun from 9E came to the school and gave me diary milk even though he had no class in school. I gave wishes and told him to study well. I felt it emotionally. Then on the 3 rd period l went to 8C as they had work experience class but they have to complete hindi notes. I stayed there and correct their answer sheets. Then on 4th hour, l taught the last topic in 'Solutions' on 8C and completed it. 
         At 12:20 pm, we joined to the midday meal program. Then l went to 8D and carried testpaper there. After that l taught them solutions and completed it. They had classes at 3 pm and then they went to home line by line. After they left the class l closed the classroom. 
            After correcting the answer sheets l put them on the staffroom and left the school at 3:45 pm. Before that we take selfie as it was our last day of first phase along with our friends from Metca.

6/02/2023, Monday             Today l reached the school at 9 am and reported. I had classes at 8C for the 2nd period and l conducted diagnostic test there on the topic 'Limits of audibility' on the chapter Sound. There were 28 students present in the class and all are attended the test. Then during the 3rd period l went to 8D and taught them capacitor portion of static electricity. After that l had to take classes at 9F on the 3rd period and taught them wave motion.        At 12:20 pm we went to mess hall for the mid day meal and served the food. Then we had food and signed the register. After that l went to 8C for the 5th and 6th period and completed the chapter static electricity. 4th SEMESTER SCHOOL INDUCTION 14/06/2023-16/06/2023

14/06/2023, Wednesday         It was the first day of our school induction programme in 4th sem at GHSS Palayamkunnu. Today we 15 student teachers from SNTC Nedunganda started the journey. I reached the school at 9:00 am. We signed the register. They allotted us a room to stay which is the previous library near the school office. We arranged bench and desks there. There was already student teachers from METCA along with us. They are already familiar with some of us in the previous internship.            Today there was an assembly conducted by XA in the school auditorium. We have also joined with them in the assembly. At 9:30 am assembly started with the prayer. It was the first assembly in the new academic year. 10/ 7/2023 ,Monday Today I reached the school at 9 am and reported. As per the time table l had no classes today. I had substitution class at 6B on the  2 nd hr. I managed the class. It was fun to spend time with them. They were curious to participate in group activities. We played a game based on English vocabulary teamwise. As the game progresses they were very active and sudden responses were came from them. The scores of the team motivates them to find more words from their memory. It was fun and informative. They can recollect and insert new words into the memory.  Class experiences I had to take class at 9C on the 3rd and 4th hr. I taught them the chapter "Forces in fluids" on the topic "viscosity".My class was observed by my physics teacher Susha in the school. I used the technique of Think-Pair- Share to teach them.
