30/01/2023 , Monday

          Today I reached the school at 9 am and reported. I had classes at 8C on the 1st and 2nd hr. I took the topic Electrification and properties of electric charges with some experiments and ICT. Then l had class at 9E on 4th hr. There was some irritating students in the class and so l had to raise my voice to bring their attention back. 
             At 12:20 pm we served the meal. After that l had to take class at 9D on 5th hr. I took the chapter World of Carbon in chemistry there. Then l taught chapter Sound at 8B . I had to take 8B, 9D and 9A on 5th hr.. So l adjusted it. 
             After that we had a meeting at IT lab along with other teachers. There was a session about safety measures on LPG gas. As we know that Pradhanmantri Ujjwala Yojana was launched by Narendra Modi on 1 May 2016 to distribute 50 million LPG connections to women of below Poverty Line families. The session was amazing that they have demonstrated it with LPG cylinder before us. They provide us the instructions for safety in a sheet of paper. They bring both Indane Stainless Steel Composite Gas Cylinder and normal LPG ( metallic) cylinder along with the gas stove. By switching off the lights in the IT lab they showed us the level of liquid in the composite gas cylinder. From the direct experience, we learned a lot. We get the situations of accidents from LPG and clearly gets the ideas and precautions to avoid it. Presentation of LPG explosion in Pathanamthitta was shown using ICT. After the detailed session they gave us presentation chart.
           As today was the Martyr's day, a 2 minute silence in the memories of Indian Martyrs is  observed at 11 am. The Gandhi club members sang prayers and gives tributes. Then they have arranged  the photo of Mahatma Gandhi and lighted the candles and honoured him with flowers. We also participated in it. It was a heartful memory. 
          We left the school at 3:45 pm.


31/01/2023, Tuesday


         Today I reached the school at 9 am and reported. On the 2nd hr l had to take classes at 9A and 9B . There is an achievement test on 9A and so l gave the class and took classes at 9B on wave motion. On the 3rd hr l taught at 9C. An achievement test was conducted at 8C on the 4th hr. There were 30 students present in the class. I arranged their seats and handed them question paper. After the  allotted time l collected their answer sheets.
            At 12:20 pm we served the meal. Then we had our lunch and signed the register. I had to take classes at 8D for the 5th and 6th period. I taught them static electricity with some experiments and provide them notes. Then l had classes at 9A on the 8th period. After girls went boys were line up and left the school. 
        We left the school at 3:45pm after National Anthem.


1/02/2023, Wednesday

          Today I reached the school at 9am and reported. I taught wave motion at 9A on the 1st hr. Then l taught at 9E on the 2nd hr with ICT and experiments. After that l taught the chapter Sound at 8A on the 3rd hr. Then took Static electricity at 8D on the 4th hr. After the class l went to the mess hall. 
             At 12:20 pm ,we joined to the midday meal. On the 5th and 6th hr l taught Static electricity at 8C by demonstrating some experiments. So they were able to understand the theory well. I am satisfied with the class.Then l taught Wave motion at 9B on the 7th and 8th hr. 
        After all the classes we left the school at 3:45pm.


2/02/2023, Thursday

         Today I reached the school at 9 am and reported. Then we had an observation on Physical Education from our college SNTC Nedunganda. Biju sir reached the school and Sir checked our lesson plans. After that we went to 9E on the 2nd period and ask them to line up in the ground. After giving proper instructions they were arranged in a line by heights. First girls were line up and then boys. After they were line up in the auditorium we moved along with them in the ground, sir also joined with us. Then we gave them warm up activities and ask them to get ready for some games. They were excited and co-operated with us. Their concentration, focus, spirit, emotional stability etc were evaluated through such fun games. We divided them into lines and ask them to keep one hand distance from each other. Then we gave them instructions and an SPC cadet Arjun among them gave some commands with our permission. After that some games were played. Then we collected feedback about the session. They were responded positively and sincerely and moves back to the class. 
             At 12:20 pm we served the meal. Then during the 5th hr, Viji tr from our college observed my class at 9E.l taught them about Acoustics of buildings and uses of ultrasonic waves with the use of ICT. After that tr gave the observation schedule. 
          We left the school at 3:45 pm after National Anthem. 



3/02/2023, Friday

         Today I reached the school at 9am and reported. Then l taught at 9A on the 2nd hr. On the 3rd and 4th hr l took the chapter Static electricity at 8C.The notebooks were also checked. 
         At 12:20 pm we served the midday meal. As it was the last day of Metca student teachers there, all of us had a meeting with the teachers in the school at 1:30 pm. 
             Ajayan sir addressed the welcome speech. Then principal Sherly tr told some words to us. All of the teachers including Sheeja tr, Omanakuttan sir, Suresh sir, HM, Bruno sir gave advices and wishes all of us. They appreciated us and told to meet again in the next training days on the 4th sem. Omanakuttan sir told us that rather than teaching ,a teacher becomes successful when she is able to control the class. We gave them sweets (ladu) and some of us went to share our experiences in the school. After that the meeting was dispersed. 
         I went to 8B on the 5th and 6th hr and completed the chapter Sound. Also l completed the same chapter at 8A on the 7th and 8th hr. There was so much struggles to control both the classes. 
         We left the school after taking some memorable pics with Metca colleagues. We all are like a family and it hurts to leave them alone. Also we hand over the 3rd prize to Bhagyalekshmi at 8D for the exhibition. At 4:00 pm we left the school.

6/02/2023, Monday             Today l reached the school at 9 am and reported. I had classes at 8C for the 2nd period and l conducted diagnostic test there on the topic 'Limits of audibility' on the chapter Sound. There were 28 students present in the class and all are attended the test. Then during the 3rd period l went to 8D and taught them capacitor portion of static electricity. After that l had to take classes at 9F on the 3rd period and taught them wave motion.        At 12:20 pm we went to mess hall for the mid day meal and served the food. Then we had food and signed the register. After that l went to 8C for the 5th and 6th period and completed the chapter static electricity. 4th SEMESTER SCHOOL INDUCTION 14/06/2023-16/06/2023

14/06/2023, Wednesday         It was the first day of our school induction programme in 4th sem at GHSS Palayamkunnu. Today we 15 student teachers from SNTC Nedunganda started the journey. I reached the school at 9:00 am. We signed the register. They allotted us a room to stay which is the previous library near the school office. We arranged bench and desks there. There was already student teachers from METCA along with us. They are already familiar with some of us in the previous internship.            Today there was an assembly conducted by XA in the school auditorium. We have also joined with them in the assembly. At 9:30 am assembly started with the prayer. It was the first assembly in the new academic year. 10/ 7/2023 ,Monday Today I reached the school at 9 am and reported. As per the time table l had no classes today. I had substitution class at 6B on the  2 nd hr. I managed the class. It was fun to spend time with them. They were curious to participate in group activities. We played a game based on English vocabulary teamwise. As the game progresses they were very active and sudden responses were came from them. The scores of the team motivates them to find more words from their memory. It was fun and informative. They can recollect and insert new words into the memory.  Class experiences I had to take class at 9C on the 3rd and 4th hr. I taught them the chapter "Forces in fluids" on the topic "viscosity".My class was observed by my physics teacher Susha in the school. I used the technique of Think-Pair- Share to teach them.
