Second phase : First week 5/01/2023- 7/01/2023

5/01/2023, Thursday

           I reached the school at 9 am and reported. Then l went to 5A on the 3rd hour and managed the class. It was fun to spend time with them. They asked not to leave the class. Some little fights among them were also solved in the class. 
            At 12:20 pm we served the midday meal. Some of the students ate food at the mess hall. Teachers also had food there. Then we had food and signed the register. I had to go with 8C students for PT period on the 6 th hr. They requested to go with them and so l went with them to the ground. They played football and other games. Girls were busy in playing shuttle. It was fun to watch their energy levels. I went to 8D on the 7th period. Then l taught them sound chapter and we had some discussions. They were actively participated in it. I gave them notes. 
           We left the school at 3:45pm after National Anthem.


6/01/2023 , Friday

       Today I reached the school at 9 am and reported. I had class at 9E on the second hr. I taught them about the types of waves. I demonstrated the production of transverse wave by using the rope and ribbon. Students are eager to see the experiment and they listened attentively. They also labelled  the amplitude and wavelength correctly. Then l had classes at 8C on the fourth period. I taught them about the source of sound. I bring some materials in their class for experimentation. They were so attentive in the class and asked some doubts. I cleared their doubts. 
       At 12:20 pm we served the mid day meal. Then after signing the register we went to our classes. I went to 8F on 6 th period and taught them sound chapter. Some of them gets punished for making nuisence in the class. Then l went to 9F on the 7th period. I had to raise my voice there and some arrangements were done in the class. Then l went to 8D for the 8th period and continued the class there. 
             We left the school at 3:45pm after National Anthem.


7/01/2023, Saturday

           Today I reached at 9 am and reported. Then the assembly was held and l had class at 8C on the second hour as it was Monday's time table. I taught them about natural frequency. The simple pendulum is shown and it's oscillations are demonstrated. They completed the activity cards properly and handover to me. They responded well and l was able to teach them effectively. The review session was done properly and they understand it. 
            At 12:20 pm, the mid day meal was served. Then we had the lunch. As it was Saturday, we need to go to our college for signing the record. The student teachers from English department stayed at the school and l and Sruthy went to college. We asked the permission of the headmistress and principal of the school. She allowed us to leave. So we left the school at 1:30 pm.

6/02/2023, Monday             Today l reached the school at 9 am and reported. I had classes at 8C for the 2nd period and l conducted diagnostic test there on the topic 'Limits of audibility' on the chapter Sound. There were 28 students present in the class and all are attended the test. Then during the 3rd period l went to 8D and taught them capacitor portion of static electricity. After that l had to take classes at 9F on the 3rd period and taught them wave motion.        At 12:20 pm we went to mess hall for the mid day meal and served the food. 4th SEMESTER SCHOOL INDUCTION 14/06/2023-16/06/2023

14/06/2023, Wednesday         It was the first day of our school induction programme in 4th sem at GHSS Palayamkunnu. Today we 15 student teachers from SNTC Nedunganda started the journey. I reached the school at 9:00 am. We signed the register. They allotted us a room to stay which is the previous library near the school office. We arranged bench and desks there. There was already student teachers from METCA along with us. They are already familiar with some of us in the previous internship.            Today there was an assembly conducted by XA in the school auditorium. We have also joined with them in the assembly. At 9:30 am assembly started with the prayer. It was the first assembly in the new academic year. 10/7/2023- 14/7/2023

10/ 7/2023 ,Monday Today I reached the school at 9 am and reported. As per the time table l had no classes today. I had substitution class at 6B on the  2 nd hr. I managed the class. It was fun to spend time with them. They were curious to participate in group activities. We played a game based on English vocabulary teamwise. As the game progresses they were very active and sudden responses were came from them. The scores of the team motivates them to find more words from their memory. It was fun and informative. They can recollect and insert new words into the memory.  Class experiences I had to take class at 9C on the 3rd and 4th hr. I taught them the chapter "Forces in fluids" on the topic "viscosity".My class was observed by my physics teacher Susha in the school. I used the technique of Think-Pair- Share to teach them.
