19/06/2023, Monday 


I reached the school at 9 am and reported. All of them assembled before 9:30 am in uniform. At 9:30 am prayer begins. The assembly was conducted by 10B students. As today June 19 was the National Reading Day, some students made a speech about it. Anu from 10 B explained the effort of P N Panicker to transform society with his literacy movement in India. A quiz was conducted at the moment and prize were distributed  by HM. It makes them happy and motivate them to answer it. It was an excellent session. I personally felt that conducting a quiz in an assembly of all teachers, students and staffs is more effective than conducting it with certain number of students. All of them get equal opportunity here. Pledge was conducted. Teachers, HM, students, we all of them made few words in the assembly. Aparna raj from 8D sang  a song composed by herself. It was appreciable and amazing lyrics👏🏻. HM gave encouragement to students for visiting library.National Anthem was sang and assembly dispersed. SPC cadets stayed there.

I went to 5A on the 2nd hr and managed them. It was fun. Then l went to library after interval for my project work. There are 3rd std students in the library. Some of them were busy in drawing and reading.lt was a wonderful experience to interact with them. I made a friendly talk with the librarian Kala tr. I found the book "Aksharachinthukal" published by Aparna raj in the library. Then there was a poster competition held in the school seminar hall. The idea based on the Reading day is expressed as posters from little hearts. Many posters were hang on the UP, HS buildings. 

At 12:20 pm we served the food and had lunch. At 2:30 pm there is a programme called "Vayanamaasacharanam" in seminar hall. Also it was the inauguration of Vidyarangam Kalasahithya Vedi by Sri Muhammed Ullas S ( poet, novelist and a teacher). It was an inspiring and a wonderful session. I am sure that it made the students to impart reading habit in their life. A book named "Mashipacha" was published and donated to the library. After that Omanakuttan sir talked about the activities of the club for the coming months. 

I was happy to attend such an informative session and assembly. It was a memorable day. 
 
At 3:30 pm National Anthem was sang and school dispersed. We left the school at 3:40 pm. 



20/06/2023, Tuesday


I reached the school at 9 am and reported. 
I had classes at 8F on the 1st  hr. 

Class experiences

I took the topic "mass and time " of measurements and units chapter. The two concepts are very much related to our daily life.So with the familiar examples l introduced both of the quantities. I showed them weight blocks in order to taught them mass. It was hand over to each bench. Chart is also presented for units and values of masses. I used ICT for more understanding. Adequate responses are received from the students.Summarisation and review was done properly. They have noted the follow up activities. I am satisfied with the class. 

 After that l had to manage 5E on the 3rd hr. I gave them simple calculations of maths and cleared their doubts. I went to HS lab for cutting and folding uniforms. 

At 12:20 pm we served the meal. We had our food and signed the register. I  witnessed the SPC cadets taking practice in the auditorium with Ajayan sir. Today there is an observation from Maths department of our college SNTC Nedunganda. Remya tr observed their classes and had lunch with us. Then there was also an observation from the METCA Institute of Teacher Education. Nisha tr told me to take classes at 8H on the 7th and 8th period. So l took the classes on the chapter Measurements and units. They asked some doubts and l cleared it. I was able to manage the class. 

At 3:30 pm National Anthem was sang and school is dispersed. At first girls were line up and left the class. Then boys followed them. After they left the class, l locked the class and went to our room. At 3:40 pm we left the school. 
It was a pleasant day.




21/06/2023, Wednesday


Today I reached the school at 9 am and reported. After signing the register we went to our respective classes. I had to take classes at 8H on the fourth hour. So l continued the chapter Measurements and units. I taught the topic Physical Quantities there. They responded well and l was able to take the class effectively.

At 12:20 pm we went to the mess hall and served the food there. Then signed the register. 

 On the 5th hr l had classes at 9C as it was my period. I continued the chapter Forces in fluids with some experiments. They were eagerly watched the experiments and willingly participated in it. I got satisfying responses from them. After that Suresh sir made some casual talks with us. On the 7th period l and Akhila went to 8E for observing the class of Sruthy as part of peer observation. She took the chapter measurements and units there on the topic Physical quantities. After that I witnessed the practice of shuttle by higher secondary students. 

We left the school at 3:40 pm after National Anthem.





22/06/2023, Thursday


Today I reached the school at 9am.After signing the register l went to staffroom and signed the record from Smitha tr(8th) and Susha tr (9th).

Class experiences
 
I took classes at 8F on the 3rd period. I taught them Physical quantities from the chapter Measurements and units. I was able to take the class satisfyingly. The students have completed the activity cards correctly. Responses are well got from them. Fundamental quantities are explained with the base of time . A chart of seven fundamental quantities with their units are displayed. Then students are asked to fill the symbols using marker. Derived quantities are explained from speed by telling real life examples. More examples were collected from them. I am very much happy about today's class. 

Then l had classes at 8H on the 4th hr. I continued the chapter Measurements and Units after checking their knowledge. 
At 12:20 pm we went to the mess hall and served the food there. Many students and teachers  ate food at the mess hall. After the mess duty we had our lunch at 1:00 pm. Then we signed the attendance register in the office. 

On the 5th period l had classes at 9C.l took the topic of "Principle of buoyancy"  there. I conducted several experiments with spring balance, aluminum foil and other materials for teaching Archimedes principle and Principle of floatation. They actively participated in the activities and l am happy about it. During the 8th hr, higher secondary students started their shuttle practice. 

At 3:30 pm National Anthem was sang . After the students left the school, we left at 3:40 pm.

6/02/2023, Monday             Today l reached the school at 9 am and reported. I had classes at 8C for the 2nd period and l conducted diagnostic test there on the topic 'Limits of audibility' on the chapter Sound. There were 28 students present in the class and all are attended the test. Then during the 3rd period l went to 8D and taught them capacitor portion of static electricity. After that l had to take classes at 9F on the 3rd period and taught them wave motion.        At 12:20 pm we went to mess hall for the mid day meal and served the food. Then we had food and signed the register. After that l went to 8C for the 5th and 6th period and completed the chapter static electricity. 4th SEMESTER SCHOOL INDUCTION 14/06/2023-16/06/2023

14/06/2023, Wednesday         It was the first day of our school induction programme in 4th sem at GHSS Palayamkunnu. Today we 15 student teachers from SNTC Nedunganda started the journey. I reached the school at 9:00 am. We signed the register. They allotted us a room to stay which is the previous library near the school office. We arranged bench and desks there. There was already student teachers from METCA along with us. They are already familiar with some of us in the previous internship.            Today there was an assembly conducted by XA in the school auditorium. We have also joined with them in the assembly. At 9:30 am assembly started with the prayer. It was the first assembly in the new academic year. 10/ 7/2023 ,Monday Today I reached the school at 9 am and reported. As per the time table l had no classes today. I had substitution class at 6B on the  2 nd hr. I managed the class. It was fun to spend time with them. They were curious to participate in group activities. We played a game based on English vocabulary teamwise. As the game progresses they were very active and sudden responses were came from them. The scores of the team motivates them to find more words from their memory. It was fun and informative. They can recollect and insert new words into the memory.  Class experiences I had to take class at 9C on the 3rd and 4th hr. I taught them the chapter "Forces in fluids" on the topic "viscosity".My class was observed by my physics teacher Susha in the school. I used the technique of Think-Pair- Share to teach them.
