   Today I reached the school at 9 am and we signed the register. After the prayer at 9:30 am, we went to our respective classes. 

Class experiences

On the 2nd hr  l taught the topic acceleration through Advance organizer model at 8F . Two videos are played using ICT which brings their attention to the class. I provide activity cards in the next phase. Frequent questioning helps them to clear doubts and understand it well.A logical and applied form of follow up was given. 
I  have classes at 9C on 3rd hr l took position time graph using buzz section.
Then l and Sruthy took in charge of the library period of 8G. Each of them had an yellow card to enter the books. Kala tr collected review of books from them. We managed them and make sure that they are reading the books and not making troubles in the library. 
        At 12:20 pm we served the mid day meal. Today's menu includes rice, sambar, potato curry and beetroot thoran. After the mess duty we had our lunch and signed the register. At 1:00 pm there is a science quiz at seminar hall. We joined with them and that was an 
informative  session. Adhityan from 10 D got first prize. Then l went to 9C for 6th and 7th period.Activities are done. I went to 8F for data collection for my minor project. The tool was distributed to them. Also they filled the tool according to the given instructions. During the interval students from 9C( Darshana, Bhadra, Lekshmi) came to me and we interacts. They came almost all of the days and wishes, interacts, asks whether l had eaten or not etc. That was a special feeling other than teaching. 
        We left the school at 3:45pm after National Anthem.



25/7/2023, Tuesday
     

Today I reached the school at 9 am. We signed the register and move on to our classes. I had the first hour at 8F .

Experience

I taught them about "Retardation and road safety'. A game was implemented. Two charts with titles hidden were presented.Students answered the given questions and derived the concept from that A game with two teams were formed. They have to give situations of retardation and thereby putting scores on the board. Prizes were announced and it became a serious competition. We made a discussion based on road safety also. Consolidation and review was done. A relevant follow up was also given. 
         I went to 7Bon the 3rd period and 6Don the 4th period. We played games, quizzes, solve problems, sings etc. It was really an enjoyable moment. They actively participated in all and was not able to sit on the bench. Some conscious effort was done to manage them. 
       At 12:20 pm we served the food. We had our lunch and signed the register. 
I had classes at 9C on the 5th hr and taught velocity- time relation. Activity cards are filled. Summarisation and review was done. Follow up is given to impart creativity among them. On the 6th hr l went to 9A for taking video class for Aiswarya. We went to lab for experiment materials. 

        
    I witnessed the students of higher secondary practices shuttle in the auditorium. We left the school at 3:45pm after National Anthem.




26/07/2023, Wednesday

I reached the school at 9 am. We signed the register as usual. 

Class experiences

On the 3rd period l had classes at 9C.l taught them about position- time relation.Some were punished.Questioning helps them to recall the previously learned concept.ICT was also used. An application level follow up was given. 
On the 4th period l taught them about position- velocity relation by showing the flashcards of 1st and 2nd equations of motion. I applied Jigsaw technique. 

At 12:20 pm we served the food and had lunch. I had classes at 6D on 5th hr. We made a quiz and that was interesting. Scores was given On the 7th and 8th hr l went to 7B and managed the class. 

At 3:30 pm, National Anthem was sang. We left the school at 3:40 pm.



27/07/2023, Thursday


Today I reached the school at 9 am and reported. As assembly was conducted by 9C in the memory of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. At 9:30 prayer was sang. Then pledge was conducted. The students took a great effort in order to deliver Kalam's life, success, contributions, quotes, mission etc. All of them made a few words about him. Also they mentioned "Wings of fire" available in the school library. National Anthem was sang and assembly dispersed. 

I had substitution hours at 9C on the second period and so we discussed some problems. More problems are given for clearing confusions. 
On the 3rd hr l had classes at 8F . I started revision classes as the chapter motion was completed. Problems are discussed. All doubts regarding Motion and Measurements& units are cleared. 

At 12:20 pm we served the meal. We had our food and signed the register. 
I took some lab materials as per the instructions of Smitha tr and given to her in 
10 D. 
At 2:30 pm there are some competitions conducted by Vidyarangam Kalasahithya Vedi at seminar hall for HS students.

Aaswadhana kurippu
Correct the spelling 
Find the opposite
Correct the sentence
Make one word
General quiz
Short paragraph writing
       a) Drugs
        b) Media and reading
        c) Education and Scientific awareness
I, Nina, Harichandana and Aiswarya participated in it and it was very informative. We put scores to them. It ends at 3:30 pm. The winner was not declared as there are evaluation for the write ups. I collected the answer sheets. Scores of 15 and below 15 are separately collected. 

At 3:30 pm National Anthem was sang . After the students left the school, we left at 3:40 pm.

6/02/2023, Monday             Today l reached the school at 9 am and reported. I had classes at 8C for the 2nd period and l conducted diagnostic test there on the topic 'Limits of audibility' on the chapter Sound. There were 28 students present in the class and all are attended the test. Then during the 3rd period l went to 8D and taught them capacitor portion of static electricity. After that l had to take classes at 9F on the 3rd period and taught them wave motion.        At 12:20 pm we went to mess hall for the mid day meal and served the food. Then we had food and signed the register. After that l went to 8C for the 5th and 6th period and completed the chapter static electricity. 4th SEMESTER SCHOOL INDUCTION 14/06/2023-16/06/2023

14/06/2023, Wednesday         It was the first day of our school induction programme in 4th sem at GHSS Palayamkunnu. Today we 15 student teachers from SNTC Nedunganda started the journey. I reached the school at 9:00 am. We signed the register. They allotted us a room to stay which is the previous library near the school office. We arranged bench and desks there. There was already student teachers from METCA along with us. They are already familiar with some of us in the previous internship.            Today there was an assembly conducted by XA in the school auditorium. We have also joined with them in the assembly. At 9:30 am assembly started with the prayer. It was the first assembly in the new academic year. 10/ 7/2023 ,Monday Today I reached the school at 9 am and reported. As per the time table l had no classes today. I had substitution class at 6B on the  2 nd hr. I managed the class. It was fun to spend time with them. They were curious to participate in group activities. We played a game based on English vocabulary teamwise. As the game progresses they were very active and sudden responses were came from them. The scores of the team motivates them to find more words from their memory. It was fun and informative. They can recollect and insert new words into the memory.  Class experiences I had to take class at 9C on the 3rd and 4th hr. I taught them the chapter "Forces in fluids" on the topic "viscosity".My class was observed by my physics teacher Susha in the school. I used the technique of Think-Pair- Share to teach them.
