31/08/2023, Monday



     Today I reached the school at 9 am and we signed the register. After the prayer at 9:30 am, we went to our respective classes. On the 2nd hr l went to 8E to take the video lesson of Sruthy. She taught about 'Frictional force' on Physics. As per time table l had no classes today. I got substitution class at 5C on the 3rd hr. It was fun and some efforts were taken to handle them. Then l and Sruthy took in charge of the library period of 8G. Each of them had an yellow card to enter the books. Kala tr collected review of books from them. We managed them and make sure that they are reading the books and not making troubles in the library. 
        At 12:20 pm we served the mid day meal. Today's menu includes rice, sambar, potato curry and beetroot thoran. After the mess duty we had our lunch and signed the register. Then l went to 6A on the 5th and 6th hr. Some games are played. Then book was read by them. They didn't allow me to go when the bell rangs. They even followed me to the room. It was a special feeling. I went to 8F for data collection for my minor project. The tool was distributed to them. Also they filled the tool according to the given instructions. During the interval students from 9C( Darshana, Bhadra, Lekshmi) came to me and we interacts. They came almost all of the days and wishes, interacts, asks whether l had eaten or not etc. That was a special feeling other than teaching. 
        We left the school at 3:45pm after National Anthem.




01/8/2023, Tuesday


     Today I reached the school at 9 am. We signed the register and move on to our classes. I had the first hour at 8F . Sruthy took the video lesson of my class. 

 Class Experience

I taught them about "Contact force" through Concept Attainment Model. I classified some examples as labelled and unlabelled in the blackboard. They discovered the similarities and differences. Then they build a concept on this. I confirmed that they are moving into the right decision. More examples were given to them and they classified it correctly. They gave more examples. I explained it and titled it as contact and non- contact force. Then using a paper, the exact meaning of force is delivered. Magnetic force is demonstrated by using iron fillings and a magnet to state it is a non-contact force. Students note down their thinking strategies. Consolidation and review was done. A relevant follow up was also given. 
         I went to 7A on the 3rd period and 7B on the 4th period. We played games, quizzes, solve problems, sings etc. It was really an enjoyable moment. They actively participated in all and was not able to sit on the bench. Some conscious effort was done to manage them. 
       At 12:20 pm we served the food. We had our lunch and signed the register. Then l went to 9F and take them to the IT lab as per the instructions. They had IT periods on 5th and 6th hour. Smitha tr also joined after some time. The students are engaged in their practical works. We make sure that they are doing it properly. 

        I had substitution class at 8C  on the 7th period. I took Physics there. I taught them the chapter 'Motion'. The idea of a reference body is implemented through several examples. Also examples were generated from them and we made a discussion about it until they get the clear idea. 
    I witnessed the students of higher secondary practices shuttle in the auditorium. We left the school at 3:45pm after National Anthem.



02/8/2023, Wednesday
   
  Today I reached the school at 9 am and we signed the register. After the prayer at 9:30 am, there is an assembly. The assembly was conducted by Hindi club as part of Hindi day. The prayer Jayakara vana vidya was sang. Pledge in Hindi was conducted. The contributions of Premchand was well explained.
HM appreciated for the Hindi assembly and informed that about the prize for best class in all areas including academics, cleanliness, activities, behaviour etc. It is a mental strategy and is healthy in nature.
I witnessed the flag hosting of SPC day. Police officers from Ayiroor station reached and gave an absolutely marvelous class to the cadets from their experiences. Then March of SPC, NCC was conducted.

Then l and Sruthy took in charge of the library period of 9F.Each of them had an yellow card to enter the books. Kala tr collected review of books from them. We managed them and make sure that they are reading the books and not making troubles in the library.

During the interval students from 9C came to me and we interacts that was a special feeling other than teaching. On 6th and 7th hr l handle 7B students. It was a lovely❤ experience. 
        School dispersed at 3:30 pm. There is a special programme after school hours. So we stayed there. The project of "Karuthal" for Up students for improving basic Maths, language is conducted. The extra classes for this will be provided at 3:30- 5:00 lm after school time. Adv Shaileja Beegam inaugurated the function. Important tips to solve the problems of students are well explained.It gives us a motivation to implement in the classrooms. We left the school at 4:30 pm. 



03/8/2023, Thursday
   
  Today I reached the school at 9 am. We signed the register. Today's prayer was sang by us student teacher's. 
I and Sruthy went to 7 A on the 1st hr. We made dictation of Malayalam words (15) from their textbook. I wrote those words on board and asks them to check. Simple calculations were done. 

I taught friction with demonstration in the 8F.Some were punished. Then l gave questions to 8G as revision classes on measurements and units. Time is allotted for them to answer. 

         
   At 12:20 pm we served the food. We had our lunch and signed the register. I went to 5A on the 5th  period .We played games, quizzes, solve problems, sings etc. It was really an enjoyable moment. They actively participated in all and was not able to sit on the bench. Some conscious effort was done to manage them. On the 6th hr l went to 6C and gave them the topic of Pollution to discuss. Debate was conducted by two teams, one favours with the idea that human beings are the primary source of pollution and the other team opposes it. . At last the team who favours the topic wins with more points. We made a conclusion. 

        
    I witnessed the students of higher secondary practices shuttle in the auditorium. We left the school at 3:45pm after National Anthem.



04/8/2023, Friday

I reached the school at 9 am and reported. It was our last day of teaching practice. We talked to the principal after signing the register. She gave us blessings and best wishes. After that l went to the staffroom. I already told to my teachers about it earlier but told again. They are very cooperative and gave us blessings. 

There are intimate relationship between the students there. We gave sweets to the UP section teachers and students. They gave us surprise gifts and that was a sweet moment. Then we went to 9F, 8E and gave sweets to them. 

At 12:20 pm we served the meal. We had our food and signed the register.
As today was our last day in the school there is a meeting with the teachers. Ajayan sir addressed the welcome speech. Each of them including us shared our experiences. They appreciated us and told to meet again as teachers in this school. Also they told as at this training period there are less complaints from our part that we managed most of the challenging situations.We took pics with them. 
I went to 8F and gave them sweets. They were happy and gave feedback. Some of them apologized for misbehavior in the class. I felt so much affection to them. They hugged and kissed. I had to hold them with both of my hands. There is a strong bond with them. 
After that l went to 9C and gave them sweets. Pics were taken. Some gifts were got and l gave them blessings. 
We gave gifts to our teachers. They blessed us and took pics. Smitha tr cried in front of us and it hurts a lot. They considered us as teachers. 
At 2:30 pm classes was over due to SRG meeting of teachers. We ceiled the register. Students came again and hugged us. Some of them cried. It was really emotional and we have to control our emotions.

It was an unforgettable day with mixed emotions. We are all like a family and it hurts a lot to leave them. We take all the good memories and lessons from the school. It was a wonderful experience in my life. ❤❤

6/02/2023, Monday             Today l reached the school at 9 am and reported. I had classes at 8C for the 2nd period and l conducted diagnostic test there on the topic 'Limits of audibility' on the chapter Sound. There were 28 students present in the class and all are attended the test. Then during the 3rd period l went to 8D and taught them capacitor portion of static electricity. After that l had to take classes at 9F on the 3rd period and taught them wave motion.        At 12:20 pm we went to mess hall for the mid day meal and served the food. Then we had food and signed the register. After that l went to 8C for the 5th and 6th period and completed the chapter static electricity. 4th SEMESTER SCHOOL INDUCTION 14/06/2023-16/06/2023

14/06/2023, Wednesday         It was the first day of our school induction programme in 4th sem at GHSS Palayamkunnu. Today we 15 student teachers from SNTC Nedunganda started the journey. I reached the school at 9:00 am. We signed the register. They allotted us a room to stay which is the previous library near the school office. We arranged bench and desks there. There was already student teachers from METCA along with us. They are already familiar with some of us in the previous internship.            Today there was an assembly conducted by XA in the school auditorium. We have also joined with them in the assembly. At 9:30 am assembly started with the prayer. It was the first assembly in the new academic year. 10/7/2023- 14/7/2023

10/ 7/2023 ,Monday Today I reached the school at 9 am and reported. As per the time table l had no classes today. I had substitution class at 6B on the  2 nd hr. I managed the class. It was fun to spend time with them. They were curious to participate in group activities. We played a game based on English vocabulary teamwise. As the game progresses they were very active and sudden responses were came from them. The scores of the team motivates them to find more words from their memory. It was fun and informative. They can recollect and insert new words into the memory.  Class experiences I had to take class at 9C on the 3rd and 4th hr. I taught them the chapter "Forces in fluids" on the topic "viscosity".My class was observed by my physics teacher Susha in the school. I used the technique of Think-Pair- Share to teach them.
